Standard Drilling Service

This option provides conventional drilling (similar to house balls at your local bowling center), based on your hand size. For hand measuring instructions, visit our Drilling FAQ page.

My Sheet is on File

Choose this option if you have previously been fit by Bowlers Academy, sent your sheet to Bowlers Academy, or used Match My Ball service from BowlersAcademy.com. We will use the sheet we have on file to drill your bowling ball. If we have your P.A.P. on file, we can drill your ball to a specific layout. Use the "Special Instructions" field to provide your desired layout.

Send My Sheet

Email your current drill sheet to proshop@bowlersacademy.com. Ensure that your P.A.P. is on the sheet if requesting a specific layout.

Match My Ball

This option provides matching service from the fit on your favorite ball. We will provide a shipping label for you to ship your favorite ball to us. Upon receiving, we will match the fit (and the layout, unless otherwise requested) of your favorite ball and transfer it to your new ball. We will then ship both balls back to you. Please allow 7-10 business days after we receive your ball for return shipping.

The Optimum IDOL Pearl is the first IDOL series ball featuring our MicroTrax Pearl coverstock. Yes, you read that correctly. Never in the history of ever have we matched our nanoparticle pearl coverstock on this legendary core shape. Why you ask? That’s a good question. But that’s neither here nor there. The time was right, and that time is now! We felt following up the original solid with a pearl that provides the optimum traction footprint in oil while providing plenty of responsiveness down lane was exactly what the world needed. It’s ok, you can thank us later.
